Resting Assured of God's Infinite Love
We’re always listening for God’s directions, and He often speaks to us through scriptures.
Psalm 138:8 (TPT) You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!
Psalm 138:8 (ESV) The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Psalms 20:4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Philippians 1:6 be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
If you can’t genuinely celebrate the healing, breakthrough, provision, or miracles I bring to others, this could be a sign that My perfect love still needs to work some things out within you. - God
Testimonies of grace and mercy should encourage us regarding God’s goodness and faithfulness. If our first response is rejection, offense, disappointment, indifference, or jealousy instead of praise and worship, our hearts likely have grown cold toward the Burning One.
Weary and fragile. That’s how I feel sometimes. I’m talking with God about it. Yesterday He asked why I don’t sit with Him more often. Honestly, sometimes it’s uncomfortable to sit in silence with God. But the Lord says, The uncomfortable seat is the best in the house! It’s the seat we should all desire. It’s the seat of surrender—where divine exchanges occur.
This week, God invited me to ask again for those things He told me to ask for many years ago. I had stopped asking. Sometimes, my heart's deep, wounded mess gets in the way of things. Am I the only one? Healing is ongoing. It’s part of the sanctification process.
God is not moved even when we doubt ourselves, make mistakes, fail miserably, and hate ourselves for the pain we cause others. He is not ashamed of what we’ve done or the lies we’ve told or believed. His love for us is unconditional. He withholds no good thing from us. He has not disqualified us. As Christians, because of the atonement of Christ, God sees us as flawless. His corrections are not rejections. God corrects those He loves (Proverbs 3:12). God was, is, and will always be a good Father to His children.
Now, I invite you to go back and re-read the scriptures from the beginning of this post. Invite God to expose any temptations, deceptions, or wounds hidden in the depths of your heart.
All the days of our lives are written in heaven, so if there was ever a day that we felt outside His presence or love, we could ask God to heal, cleanse, and clarify those memories to align our souls with His plans and purposes. Allow the Lord to have His way. Bask in the Light of His glory and grace. And tonight, rest assured of His infinite love.
Blessings to all.
